General information

Before applying, make sure your event:

  • Has been held in Queensland at least twice.
  • Does not rotate between different locations.
  • Takes place within the specified eligible event dates for this funding round.
  • Has taken place in the current year before applying.
  • Needs support for things like: promoting to visitors outside your region, improving your event program, hiring short-term staff or temporary infrastructure or developing strategic or business plans.

Eligibility criteria

Events must have been staged on at least two occasions to be eligible for Destination Signature funding.
