General information

Before applying, make sure your event:

  • Has been held in Queensland at least twice.
  • Does not rotate between different locations.
  • Takes place within the specified eligible event dates for this funding round.
  • Has taken place in the current year before applying.
  • Needs support for things like: promoting to visitors outside your region, improving your event program, hiring short-term staff or temporary infrastructure or developing strategic plans.

Eligibility criteria

Has your event been held in Queensland before? * Required
Events must have been staged on at least two occasions to be eligible for Destination Signature funding.

Events that rotate to multiple destinations are not eligible for Homegrown funding.

You must have delivered your most recent event before applying for funding for a future event.
