Eligibility criteria

Before applying, make sure your event:

  • Has been held in Queensland at least twice.
  • Does not rotate between different locations.
  • Falls within the current funding dates.
  • Has already taken place before applying.
  • Needs support for enhancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content in your event.
Has your event previously received TEQ support? * Required
Events must have previously received TEQ funding to be eligible.
Has your event been held in Queensland before? * Required
Events must have been staged at least twice before applying.
Does your event take place in multiple destinations? * Required
QDEP funding is not eligible for events that rotate to multiple destinations.
Has your previous event been staged prior to completing this application? * Required
You must have staged your current event before submitting an application for future funding.
Do your event dates fall within the funding round? * Required
Funding is only eligible for events that are staged within the funding round.
Is your event Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Owned (51%)? * Required
Does the event feature Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content in the program? * Required
Elevate Indigenous Events funding is available to support the elevation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander events and content within existing events.
Have you applied for eligible funding uses as per the QDEP Guidelines? * Required
Funding is available for out of region marketing costs and event enhancements.
Is your event currently supported by TEQ? * Required
Elevate Indigenous Events funding can be used in conjunction with Destination Signature or Destination Significant funding.
