This section of the application form is designed to help you, and us, understand if you are eligible for this grant. It is important that you complete these questions before any others to ensure you do not waste your time applying for an unsuitable grant.

Confirmation of Eligibility

Before proceeding, please confirm the following:

  • you have read and understood the program guidelines 
  • you are able to demonstrate alignment between your project and the aims of this program
  • you are applying for support for an existing event that has been staged at least once previously within the last five years.
  • your event will take place between 1 January and 31 December 2026
  • your event will take place within the eligible local government areas:
    • Barcoo Shire Council
    • Boulia Shire Council
    • Bulloo Shire Council
    • Diamantina Shire Council
    • Longreach Shire Council
    • Murweh Shire Council
    • Paroo Shire Council
    • Quilpie Shire Council
    • Winton Shire Council
  • your organisation must have an ABN, be either a Corporation registered with ASIC, an Incorporated Association or other body corporate
  • your organisation is able to demonstrate financial viability
  • you organisation must not have failed to comply with and acquit any previous funding agreements with TEQ
